Valerian Root – This natural remedy for anxiety is also very popular, and for good reason. One of the reasons that it’s so effective is because it relieves the symptoms of nausea, drowsiness, and sleepiness during the day. Often, sufferers of physical ailments like headaches and nausea have no desire to take their medications, but Valerian root offers relief from these symptoms. To get the full benefits, take a half ounce of the root extract with warm water and tincture three times daily.

Chamomile Essential Oil – For those who suffer from generalized anxiety disorder, chamomile is a wonderful choice for anxiety remedies. Chamomile is one of the most popular natural remedies for the general psychological health of humans. It improves mood, energy, and concentration. You can either make a nice tea for yourself, or you can add a few drops of the extract to massage into your scalp as an oil. Be sure not to use this oil for internal purposes unless you’re following the directions on the bottle.

Valerian Root Extract – Taking Valerian root as an herbal supplement has been shown to increase energy, improve mood and decrease depression. In studies, it has also demonstrated a reduction in heart rate among patients who were undergoing stress-reduction therapy at one of its centers. Stress is known to contribute to both physical and psychological discomfort, and many people suffer from anxiety and other types of stress throughout their lives. For this reason, be sure to give top quality Valerian root supplements to those who need them. Be sure to look for high quality products that contain just the right amounts of Valerian, as too little can cause you to experience side effects.

By learning some meditation exercises that are easy to follow, you can learn to calm your mind and body, improve your focus, and allow your body to relax. These meditation and relaxation techniques may help you manage stress better. They will also help you to have a better sleep at night.
